Athletic awards and honors In high school, Adam was; All Region, All-conference, AlL-state, athlete. I played spring rugby-MVP-JR & SR year and also wrestled varsity in high school 2 yrs.-placed 8th-10th grade and 5th 11th grade. I was nominated by the US Army All-American team both my Junior and Senior years in high school. I benched 185 lbs. 33 times-record and Under Armour. He set the record for most tackles both solo and assisted tackles and tackles for loss at my high school for all 4 yrs as a Varsity player. My Sr. year was dedicated to football and attended many camps during the 2011- Summer camps and achieved MVP honors. He was invited to several college camps but due to financial restraints only attended; Notre Dame only 17 invited by Coach Diacco-DC. He registered for my SAT and tested in Feb. 2012 and received my scores in March. scored high on his SAT Score missing signing day and all scholarships were given out already.  I was disappointed but it helped me prioritize my goals for life and my LDS mission plans.

ATHLETIC AND FOOTBALL HONORS

He was ranked 26th as an inside linebacker in the nation by 2012 ESPN and top 150 by Tom Luginbill.” He is definite read run stopper, strong, good feet and technique, pass coverage, special teams.”  

He was also rated by Max Preps and, 24/7 Sports, Scout and Rivals ats a 3 – 4 star player by HS Football Analyst; Tom Lemming as 23rd MLB. “Hard hitting run stopper with good instincts to the ball. Reads well and makes his drops in pass coverage impact player with high energy.”  2011-FBU Football Regional Camp 5/2011-Defensive MVP. LB Coach- Kurt Gouveia-Super Bowl Player X2; Washington Redskins MLB stated, “Adam has all the tools to be a great player at ILB…always makes hard hit. He will make an immediate impact on any D-1 program ‘always running motor,’ plays smart.”  2006-2010- University Utah & BYU Summer Camps.” Always earned Defense MVP for both programs. Coach Justin Ena-LB, “I’ve known Adam since 8th grade and is the next Manti Te’o,” Coach at Utah.  All Polynesian Camp; 2007-2011, 2011-MVP.

Voted Greenville News Player of the Month 3 times. Also 2012 player of the year. I made the Elite top 30 for North and South Carolina. I was ranked and was named to and played in the 2012 – 13 All Polynesian – All-American game in Long Beach, California. I was voted ‘defensive player of the game.‘ with 15 tackles and credited with 10 solo tackles and five assisted, with three sacks. I was named as 2010-2012 as; All Conference, All State-SC Player, ‘Mr. Football, SC’ ranked no. 5 in the State Top 30 for South Carolina. Ah Ching was voted top 30 players by Elite Sports for both North and South Carolina. Also, nominated to; 2011/2012 US ARMY ALL-AMERICAN for South Carolina, also UNDER ARMOUR ALL AMERICAN.
